I am attending an "Oscar Party" tonite, which is actually pretty hilarious since the last movie I saw in a theater was "Paul Blart, Mall Cop starring Kevin James! Just shows my taste in movies!!! My friend Joyce said you don't need to know anything about the movies or who is up for what to come which is a good thing, since I don't. Can't say that I am interested in any of the celebs right now at all. Seems one is just as untalented as the next. But I am going to go for the food and the good company. The "Oscars" are just a good reason to get together. Tune in!

I am ashamed to say I have not been here since October. And probably would not be here today except I was shamed into it by my little sis! Which I guess is a good thing. I am never at a loss for words until it comes to putting them down in writing. So I will slowly get back to trying to write my "blog". So slowly it is and that is all for now:)

Vegas

Just came back from Vegas. Weather was gorgeous! Slots were greedy. Had a great time. It is amusing to watch all the people behaving badly and I am not talking about drunks or gamblers. I am talking about bad manners! There were definately people doing something and many times it was "wrong" in a very bad way.

I think I really suck at this blog thing. Most of the time I have too much to say, but lately as my friend Tami would say "I got nothin". Nothin' seems to flip my switch lately. I am hoping to find some flip switchin' stuff soon.

I stepped in the door of my sisters house, the owner of this new found blog - being invited over at 1:00pm for a bbq, well, guess what? There was no one home. (She did do something, even if it was wrong-gotta give her that)

Since December, and her new lap top was opened from under the Christmas tree, she has nagged her 20 year old son - my god child, she asked him to network her laptop to the home network so she could print. Keep in mind, she is one, that at one time, forgot to turn the monitor on, and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the damn computer! So, she's nagged, and nagged, Mr. Mobile at Best Buy, to do this little task, not much to ask in my book.

As the months turned from a winter chill, to the spring rain, and now onto the summer heat, heading into fall, the mouthy 20 year old, insisted he couldn't do it, it was the computers fault, Windows Vista and all...

Well, Nick, who is always correct, and will argue with anyone to prove his point, I sat down for the few minutes that my sister had deserted me, and went to work.. and within a few minutes.. this little laptop is buzzing and the printer is spitting out the pages!

Do they teach common sense in school? How about common courtesy? How about a class on how not to be a "dumbass"?
